By now, pretty much the whole world has seen this, but just in case:
Madeon is a brilliant young guy that created this radical live mashup. He doesn't have much to pick from, but what little he's got is very good. Stamp of approval.

Sleeping At Last - Atlantic,
Been loving this song ever since I first heard it a few days ago. I wanted to share it and thought this would be a great place. A beautiful, simple, instrumental song that goes great with the rest of their three track EP "June" .

Passion Pit - Sleepyhead (Neo Tokyo Remix)
This came on shuffle while I was driving home tonight. If you like the original, chances are you'll seriously dig this mix. Neo Tokyo does some of the most unique stuff in their mixes, often replacing almost the entire song that they're mixing. The solo section of this song is amazing.
Anyways, crank up the low end and you'll wanna put this on repeat. For sure.

Nothing People - Marilyn's Grave
This'll go great if you're in a low-fi, Iggy Pop kind of mood. Not much to it, save the laid back, surf punk vibe that makes you long for summer days.

Yeasayer - O.N.E.
These dudes are a super experimental group out of the New York anti-pop scene that, oddly enough, the hipsters didn't seem to glom onto like they did Animal Collective. You might describe this track as electronically melodic, but with a deep, almost tribal beat that drives the song - reminiscent of a little Late of the Pier, for those with a bit more experimental palette. (Also, if you're diggin' this, I'd highly recommend those guys as well.) Anyway, here's the lyrics, which, in the song, can be painful at times:
One's not enough, I won't stop 'til I've given you up
Clear-eyed as I am, it's hard having fun It's much easier said than it's done
Hold me like before
Hold me like you used to
Control me like you used to
No, You don't move me anymore
And I'm glad that you don't 'cause I can't have you anymore
But I thought you should know
You don't move me anymore
And I'm glad that you don't
Because I can't take it anymore

Two Door Cinema Club - Cigarettes in the Theatre
These guys are a more or less recent favorite of mine. They actually got pretty huge last year, landing at number 12 on last.fm's best new music of 2010. Their album, Tourist History, is entirely and absolutely magnificent and you should pick it up as soon as possible. You know those albums where every single song is freakin' awesome and you could never get tired of any of them no matter how hard you tried? It's one of those. This track though, is the first on the album and it goes like this:
It starts in the theatre
A night of encounters
If I hadn't been there
If not for a cigarette
And you could see it change
Look past the blinding light
Look past the blinding light
Just keep taking now
Tell me your favourite things
Tell me your favourite things
Honestly, for the most part they're not much for lyrics. The music, however, is radically captivating. Plus they're Irish. So that's a plus. I think.

James Mercer - Journey Through the Past
I never thought I'd say this about a Neil Young song, but I think I like this cover better than the original.
